Problem:
Edition of Specification (Year): 2003
Defect code : 2. Omission
Several of the proposed changes in the Technical Corrigendum change
references to the current process to say "thread" instead of
"process". It is not clear how this applies to implementations that
do not support the Threads option, or to processes that do not
execute any of the pthread_* functions.
Action:
Add a sentence at the start of section 2.9 explaining that every
process has an initial thread. Perhaps one of the people who know
about threads (Butenhof, Terekhov, Drepper, etc) could suggest the
wording.
