To be honest with you, I expected that this example would be
discussed in 2 minutes with the outcome:
ERN114: Rejected (reason: too complicated).
This was the first example that I submitted. At the beginning,
I had in mind to present "real life examples" as a whole to show
the different interactions between various XSH interfaces.
The second intention was to write the example modular enough, so that we
could split each "part" over the corresponding interfaces with suitable
cross-references. I wanted not only the illustrate "a standalone API",
but also "how things work together"
Altought this approach might have some merits, I slowly began to
realize that it is *not* apropriate for the standard.

Yes, I came to this conclusion too.

This was meant to :)
I'm a newbie in this standard business, and there is undoubtly a learning
curve until I can provide "good inputs". I am really glad that the group
gives me the chance to understand what is expected.
But should my contribution generates more troubles than usefull inputs,
please let me know.
Like the IP layer, it is just "Best effort" with the (very limited)
means at disposition ;-)
Regards,
Loic.
