Problem:
Edition of Specification (Year): 2008
Defect code : 1. Error
The asctime() rationale says:
"The standard developers decided to mark the asctime() and
asctime_r() functions obsolescent even though they are in the
ISO C standard ..."
However, asctime_r() is not in ISO C.
Action:
Change
"even though they are in"
to
"even though asctime() is in"
