Challenges:
Business Strategy which has been changing for every year has not been aligned with IT strategy which has been for more than 5 years. Hence Business Strategy is not aligned to the IT strategy which has major impact on the business outcomes.Global Business Operations are working in silos. Global Business Leaders are not disciplined in thinking & not sharing the information on the realtime basis globally due to changing business environments.Unable to enforce standards & provide the oversight due to the absence of structured governance framework for enterprise. Financial Mess due to acquired companies. Legacy landscape.Facing increasing powerful upstream & downstream partners which are hindering the achievement of business goals. Overall performing poorly & may go for bankruptcy if this continues along this path in next couple of years.

Solution(s):
Enterprise Architecture Vision focussed on revitalizing the portfolio of products and brands to emphasize on growth, time to market products & services, increase in revenues & increase in the global market share from 30% to 90% using TOGAF Framework by end of 2014 (from 2010). Key Leadership Team from US, EMEA and APAC Operations has been identified using the Stakeholder Mapping Technique which led to achieving yearly targets with run of more than 500 mn year on year. Business Transformation Readiness Assessment has been done and found to be at 4.1 which is more than stable as per ACMMI.

Business Architecture Target State has been achieved quarterly as per the Architecture Vision Document for the Enterprise. Business Architecture Baseline State (Baseline First Technique) defined across the Architecture Landscape (Strategic Level, Segment Level & Capability Level) & Breadth, Depth, Time, Recency.  IS Architecture (Data Architecture & Application Architecture) Target State has been achieved quarterly as per the Architecture Vision Statement
-- Big Data Architecture  (secured) has been defined, developed & implemented using ADM.
-- Hadoop Framework complements TOGAF Framework.
-- SOA has been defined, developed & implemented using the ADM.
Technology Architecture Target State has been achieved as per the Architecture Vision Statement by end of the quarter.
- Transition Architectures have been defined for each of the milestones achieved every month as per the assigned business value.
Transition Target States along with the Values assigned has been achieved every quarter & KPIs have been collected as defined. Internet of Things Compliments the TOGAF Framework. Migration Planning has been done with the Project Methodology as per the PMI Standards which complements the TOGAF Framework. This has helped in keeping the scheduled variance within the range of 3% and cost variance within the range of 5% as agreed with the key stakeholders.

Lessons Learnt have been implemented across the Enterprise Projects and have resulted in the savings of about $ 900mn over a period of 3 Years. Architecture Change Phase has been used ITIL Framework which complements the TOGAF Framework. This has helped in improving the SLAs :
 > 60% in US, > 50% in EMEA, > 40% in APAC.
Business impact of emerging technologies, in particular, cloud, social, mobile, big data, and the Internet of Things - by Implementing TOGAF Frameworks complementing them over a period of 3 Years:
 > 65% in USA, > 55% in EMEA, > 45% in APAC.
Organizational change by aligning business needs with information technology, and increasing business value from EA by Implementing TOGAF over a period of 3 Years in Retail Industry:
 > 75% in USA, > 60% in EMEA and > 55% in APAC.
