This session will discuss SOA standardization activities and the role of the SOA Work Group. Standardization of protocols and data formats relevant to SOA has taken place in W3C and OASIS (often based on input from WS-I), and standardization of methods and frameworks has taken place in OASIS, the OMG, and The Open Group. Now, ISO has formed a Study Group, led by China, to consider International Standards for SOA. How should the SOA Work Group contribute to this work going forward?

11:00 SOA Tutorial Development
The Hong Kong conference program includes the initial delivery of three of the SOA tutorials being developed by the SOA Work Group. This session will consider the results of that initial delivery, and plan the further development of the tutorials. In particular, it will discuss the key tutorial on the use of TOGAF for SOA.
