EA, SOA, Governance and reality - Creating the Actionable SOA

SOA is the new mantra that organizations are pursuing. Organizations are also actively engaged with Web 2.0 and its implications. EA drives SOA and other architectural taxonomies. Governance is an integral part of SOA. But what does it take to create an Actionable SOA(TM)? An actionable SOA involves a number of different elements - governance (which permeates across all tiers), actual actionable elements such as delivery models, requirements capture, agile solutioning, testing, etc. - required to making it actionable an activity that a number of EA organizations struggle with. This includes implementation, road-mapping, and the creation of a solution with the ability to deal with change. In this presentation we review governance and what it takes to make that leap from a theoretical model to an actionable model
