Creating a more effective open management environment

The Open Group Enterprise Management Forum works to develop a common manageability infrastructure that can be used by both application developers and management system vendors to create an open environment in which complex solutions can be constructed without artificial barriers to their management.

The Open Group Enterprise Management Forum provides both specifications and open source reference implementations to enable the creation of such environments, along with applicable test suites and certification programs. The Forum provides a vendor-neutral environment where members can grow professionally, network with a world-class community of peers, have early access to relevant information, and lead the development of enterprise management standards and best practices.
