Now a days the Vision and Concept of smart cities are floating around across India. Any visualized Smart cities has multiple vertical solutions to be addressed which span across multiple departments, organizations and public/private partnership initiatives. TOGAF provided the method for managing these complexities across verticals and enterprise which is the Country in itself.  The PMO is the Visionary organization for the same. In this paper I would like to emphasize on Architecture partitioning, Iteration levels and mapping of different departments with TOGAF depth, breadth and domains in 3D to illustrate that TOGAF can be used to manage complexities at these levels.

Uday Bhatt has 22 years of IT experience. After graduating for Physics, Computer Science & Bioinformatics, he completed executive management course from IIM Kolkata. As  Enterprise Architect he worked in domains like Airline, Cargo, Dairy, Energy-Utilities, Healthcare and Warranty. As a Consultant he has travelled to many countries viz: USA, UK, AUS, UAE, Muscat, Qatar, Malaysia, Singapore, Canada and Chez. The output for IT consultancies were IT strategy and IT roadmaps. He has trained and used extensively EA frameworks such as TOGAF.
