Enterprise Security Architecture at Eskom – TOGAF and SABSA

With Eskom classified as a National Key Point it is imperative that the Enterprise Security Architecture is business-driven without losing site of the organisation’s goals, objectives, success factors and targets. Eskom has implemented the TOGAF ADM for the development of the Enterprise Architecture.The Enterprise Security Architecture is developed using the SABSA Framework in conjunction with the TOGAF ADM. The presentation will outline the approach employed for the development of the Enterprise Security Architecture within Eskom.

Maganathin is a proactive, analytical and conscientious Enterprise Architect, Enterprise Security Architect and Solutions Architect with over twenty years Information Technology experience in the Education (North West University), Insurance (Discovery Health), Banking (Standard Bank, Central Bank of Nigeria, African Bank in Nigeria, BANKSERV), Telecommunications (Cell C), Public Sector (The Department of Trade and Industry, Small Enterprise Development Agency), Energy Utility (Eskom), Water Utility (Rand Water), IT Consulting (T-Systems South Africa and ATOS) industries. He holds a B.Sc. Honours in Computer Science and certifications including from TOGAF, SABSA and ITIL.
