OMG: There have been a number of significant advancements in the OMG in their SOA SIG including the issuance of a RFP for a UML Profile and Metamodel for Services, a RFI for Event Driven Architecture (EDA) And its relationship with SOA & BPM.both of which were issued at the December OMG Technical Conference. In addition, there are numerous other activities to report upon including a "SOA Information Day" held at the December conference.
